AiDi Corporation successfully developed world best performance Si-Photonics AWG

July 4, 2013 - Silicon reflection-type arrayed waveguide gratings(AWGs) with -20dB crosstalk are experimentally demonstrated for the first time to our knowledge. The AWG has 14 output channels with 400GHz channel spacing and a footprint of 230μmx530μm. The minimum on-chip loss of 3.0dB is achieved by using a second-order distributed Bragg reflector(DBR) facet. Successfully presented at 2013 18th OptoElectronics and Communications Conference (OECC) in Kyoto, Japan.

AiDi Releases Ultra-High Port Count 1x128 PLC Splitter

Tsukuba, Japan - November 16, 2010 – AiDi Corporation has again advanced its Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) optical splitter technology and released a
1x128 PLC splitter product.  By utilizing its patented waveguide design techniques, AiDi is reporting unprecedented insertion loss and PDL characteristics in a mass-producible product.  The product is manufactured using the same methods that were qualified by Telcordia under the Verizon FOC-ITL requirements.

AiDi Develops World’s First Sub-10GHz Resolution Miniature Spectrometer
